Closing out the year always gives us a chance to reflect on what we've learned and accomplished. We are, as ever, thankful for the amazing network of clients, colleagues and friends who trust and challenge us to deliver value in our work.
Strategy Compass celebrates our ten-year anniversary in just a few months. As we turn the corner into 2023, please know how much we value and appreciate the opportunities we have had to work with and support so many great organizations over the past decade.

P.S. A few highlights from 2022 follow, if you're interested. We are proud of them, but didn't want to make you read through them in the middle of a holiday note!
Strategy Compass went international in 2022, signing our first UK-based client and helping them to analyze market opportunity in the US and Canada for environmental sustainability training, certification, advocacy and membership.
That focus on the environment and sustainability broadened into an ESG lens with two other client engagements this past year. As executive advisors to the CEO of a $45M organization, we helped to think through aligning the Board, executive leadership, and key industry partners on a vision for "walking the walk" on ESG as an integrated component of operations. We were equally thrilled to help a NY-based client in the financial services industry facilitate and convene industry-leading discussions on ESG investing.
Our portfolio of interim executive work continued to grow in 2022, with Sean serving as the interim CEO of that same financial services industry organization. After concluding the interim assignment in the spring, we continued to support the new leadership team and the organization's growth.
It was great to work with both new and long-standing clients this year. We continued our multi-year executive advisory and business planning work with a client in the professional services sector (yes, we consult to consultants!), helping their President to think through organizational growth and operational stability. And thank you to the new organizations who reached out to us for organizational assessment and market sizing projects. As happy as we were to bring our team's expertise to the table, we were equally thrilled by the opportunity to learn about your organizations, your markets and your teams.
While much of our work in 2022 centered on strategy development and implementation for our clients, it was exciting and challenging to take on a large operational transformation for a charitable fundraising organization, helping them to normalize gift processing and improve cashflow ahead of the year-end busy season.
