Alison French

As an experienced facilitator, trainer and coach, Alison thrives on helping organizations and individuals to build relationships, to make the right connections and decisions, and to achieve success in a dynamic environment.

For more than 20 years, Alison has led projects within the education, government, and private sector organizations. She has facilitated strategic planning meetings, corporate retreats and skills training workshops; conducted in-depth change, leadership and product assessments; developed and deployed strategic communication campaigns; and been recognized as a trusted adviser and go-to person by many clients.

Alison’s accomplishments range from being rated as a top instructor for the Deloitte Consulting Milestone Program and launching a career mentoring program for BearingPoint, to building and deploying a comprehensive change plan for a major Defense technology initiative with more than 7,000 end users.

Alison’s Federal clients include the General Services Administration (GSA), US Air Force, US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service and Natural Resources Conversation Service (NRCS), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). She has also worked with private and nonprofit organizations and individual career coaching clients.

Prior to her work in Big Four consulting, she helped build the graduate marketing program for the College of Arts and Sciences at American University, orchestrated fundraising campaigns and events for a Capitol Hill nonprofit, and helped run a small hospitality consulting startup in New York City. In addition, she contributed to the book "Leverage: How to Get It and How to Keep It in Any Negotiation" (Volkema, R. 2006) and to a best practices study on Lessons Learned from the Government to Government Shared Services Environment, as part of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC).

Alison was a featured speaker for the Kevin Eikenberry Group’s Remarkable Learning teleseminar on “The Secret to Managing Difficult and Resistant Employees.”

She holds a Bachelor's degree with distinction in communications from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kogod School of Business at American University.
